Coconut cream powder

Classification and regulatory status of Coconut cream powder

Coconut cream powder has an intense, fresh coconut flavour that captivates the senses. Thanks to its unique formulation and manufacturing process, this high-fat powder boasts an exceptionally long shelf life.

Standard Coconut cream powder (60–70% fat) is a spray-dried product based on maltodextrin with a distinctive coconut flavour.

The vegan Coconut cream powder (50–60% fat) is also spray-dried. Unlike the standard version, the sodium caseinate is replaced with modified starch. Yet, the characteristic coconut flavour is preserved.

Coconut cream powder FAQs

How is Coconut cream powder made?

The white flesh of the coconut is cut, pressed and ground. The coconut milk obtained from this process is then spray-dried together with maltodextrin, resulting in our Coconut cream powder.

What is the benefit of Coconut cream powder over coconut milk?

It is a beneficial alternative to regular coconut milk. Coconut cream powder has a longer shelf life due to its lower residual moisture content. Coconut cream powder is easier to handle, and transport costs are lower due to its lower weight compared to liquid coconut milk.

In which areas of application are coconut products used?

Coconut products have a wide range of applications. In addition to the ice cream and dairy industries, they are also used in confectionery, snacks, convenience products, delicatessen items and ready meals. In addition, coconut products are also used in food supplements and vegan products.

Why does Coconut cream powder contain sodium caseinate?

Sodium caseinate is a solubilised milk protein with emulsifying and stabilising properties.
Our Coconut cream powder has a fat content of 60–70%. Thanks to sodium caseinate’s natural properties, fat separation is prevented, allowing us to guarantee a long shelf life of 18 months.

How available is it?

We import our Coconut cream powder by the container load directly from the country of origin. This ensures regular availability and allows for delivery within just a few working days.
